Nutrition is very important to Singers in order to stay at the tip-top condition during performance and maintain a beautiful voice.
Their diet should be rich in Protein but low in cholesterol . Beans like black beans and bean curb are very good source of protein for the voice cord. They also very good for singer who has short of breathe when singing.
Lean meat, beef, mutton, egg, milk, fruits and fresh vegetable are some of the great choice of food.
Singers should avoid food/ drinks that are too hot or too cold.
Avoid drinking cold or hot drinks 2hr before singing. They will affect the voice cord and the the throat while singing. So drinks at room temperature are the best choice.
Avoid Spicy food like chillies, pepper, garlic and spices. They are not good for the throat and voice cord.
Maintain good healthy lifestyle. exercise regularly.
Half hour before singing, having some fresh fruit can help to soothe the throat.
